Things to Do in Costa Rica 🌴
First things first: Saturday is for the wedding! 💃🏻🕺🏻
Please plan your adventures accordingly
If you’re traveling all the way to Costa Rica, we highly recommend staying a little longer and exploring. Here are a few of our favorite spots:
🏖️ Playa Avellanas | ~5–15 min
Right by Hacienda Pinilla, with great surf, sunsets, and cold drinks. Also our unofficial day-after-wedding headquarters. If you’re still standing, come find us. 😎🍹
🌊 Tamarindo & Playa Langosta | ~20–30 min
Great for surfing, restaurants, shopping, sunset drinks, and nightlife. Langosta is the quieter neighbor if Tamarindo gets a little too enthusiastic.
🐚 Playa Conchal | ~45–60 min
Beautiful clear water and a shell-covered shoreline. Perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and a relaxed beach day.
🌴 Las Catalinas & Playa Danta | ~1 hour
Gabi & Gaston's favorite! Beautiful beach, charming town, great food, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and absolutely worth the drive.
🤿 Feeling adventurous? Guanacaste is perfect for surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, fishing, and sunset catamaran tours.
Going Beyond the Beach
🌿 Monteverde | ~3–3.5 hours
Cloud forests, hanging bridges, ziplining, hiking, wildlife, and coffee tours. Definitely worth spending a night or two rather than doing it as a day trip.
🌋 Arenal & La Fortuna | ~3.5–4 hours
Volcano views, waterfalls, rainforest hikes, rafting, ziplining, and hot springs. Another great option for a couple of nights.
Costa Rica has so much to explore, so stay a few extra days if you can, chase some sunsets, drink a few Imperiales (official beer), and enjoy the pura vida.
Just remember where you need to be on Saturday. 😉🇨🇷
